Organize Your Bathroom Vanity
Whether you have a large or small bathroom there are many ways you can maximize your space and properly organize the supplies you have. Here
are a few tips you can use.
Go through your vanity and clean out all the stuff you haven't used in over a year. If you've gone through all 4 seasons and haven't used
those items then you don't need them. Many of them may have expired, through them out.
Hang hooks on the wall for towels and robes. You can decorate with a picture above the hooks, but don't put anything below them.
Keep your dirty linens and clothes off the floor by using a hamper. They have very fancy ones now that will not look cheap.
Make sure your medicine cabinet about the vanity is cleaned out. Toss out any expired medicine and make sure everything has a childproof cap,
even if you don't have kids. You may have guests over sometime. Not to mention that guests like to snoop through cabinets, so having them cleaned
out will leave a good impression.
If you have a lot of shower related items get a shower caddy to hang from the shower head. This can store your soaps, shampoos, sponges, etc.
It will keep things off the shower floor or tub rim and make it neatly organized.
If you buy anything in bulk like toilet paper or qtips, don't store them in their original containers. Put white items in clear plastic jars
to set on the vanity (it adds a nice decorative touch as well as easy access) and get a basket to store extra linens or toilet paper.
Try not to litter the room with magazines. When you're done reading one, throw it away or recycle it. Don't keep a huge stack of them for one
article that you'll never find again. Good articles should be cut out and stored in a binder for future reference.
